If you’re like most of the physicians I work with, you understand that creating blog posts for your site is critical for your marketing strategy. However, it can be very time-consuming.
One way that may be faster and easier is to use Voice Memos to create content.
Here are three steps to using voice memos to create blog posts:
1). Select Your Topic and Questions
If you’ve already created a content plan, review the list and select your next topic.
Then write down the main question/topic that you are answering, and 3-5 of the most common questions patients ask about it.
2). Use the Rev Recorder App to Record Your Post
Rev is a fantastic transcription service, and they have some great tools that make it super simple to use.
After you’ve created an account, download the Rev Recorder App to your phone and create an account.
Then, record your answers to the questions or the topic information you want to cover.
Don’t worry about making a mistake or not using proper grammar. That can all be cleaned up in the next step. Just record the post like you’re having a conversation with a patient.
Tip: It may help to have someone else ask you the questions, and you answer them when recording.
Once you are finished, hit the “Save and Transcribe” option.
From there, the Rev team will transcribe your recording and have the text sent back to you. Most of the time, they have this completed within 24 hours.
Plus, they only charge $1 per minute for human transcription, which is really a steal for the value and accuracy they provide.
3). Edit the Return Text and Post
Once you have the completed transcription, you can then go back and clean up the text.
Another helpful App I’ve found for this is Grammarly.
Grammarly will quickly scan your text for potential errors or improvements, allowing you to make helpful edits.
Once you have the edits processed, proofread the post and publish it.
A key to winning with digital marketing is continuing to publish great content that is helpful to patients, but that can be hard to do.
This has become a go-to strategy in creating content with my clients, as it removes one of the biggest challenges in writing content.
Hopefully, this approach can help you in your content creation strategy, as well.
